The Winchester brothers have opened the gates of hell and allowed seven of the deadliest demons in all creation to walk the Earth, and that is only the beginning of their problems. Supernatural.begins its third season with a radical change in narrative, this time focused on finishing the war they have started while Dean (Jensen Ackles) faces a looming death pact, and Sam (Jared Padalecki) struggles against a dark destiny.

Two controversial recurring characters, Ruby and Bela, join Supernatural as eye-pleasing foils as the mythic road show embarks on its mission to bolster its weakened ratings while upping the ante of its plot.
